 Inside Rachel

A scrap of paper found in a note book with some of Rachel's drawings and thoughts....

Stories about Rachel, the good times, the bad.  In Rachel's words....
(An excerpt from Rachel's personal journal dated 10-12-04)

It is rare to find someone who understands the ethics upon significant signs,  More or less my ridiculous ethics upon significant signs are acts of fate in it's purest form.  Whether it is bad or good.  Signs go unnoticed by most, even when put before them.  Most choose to ignore these signs, ignore the foreshadow of their destiny, their given fate.  But for those like myself, take a deeper look past the simple insignificance that one merely glances upon.  A deeper look, a deeper meaning, a deeper understanding.

Signs are what are given to you, it is up to you to choose whether to notice them or not.  These signs that come across your path are supposed to.  They are signs that open your eyes.  To expect something in the future.  A little tip to what is your destiny should or will be.

Each moment, each sign is a clue that you need to hold on to, to piece together the puzzle of your fate and your life.  Those who deny these signs, refuse to keep an open mind and heart, are blind.  Blind to what they consist of.  They are blind to the possibilities.  Even the smallest of things can mean the largest of things.  Signs are what your destiny exposes.

The possibilities are endless.  These signs catch my eye all the time.  Hoping that I am not the only one.  Some might think that they are nothing, but in reality its everything.  Only a few see what I see, these signs, these moments in our lives that have significant meanings telling us that we might possibly be on the right path.

Everything happens for a reason.  A reason that was supposed to happen as it was.

A foreshadow...
A clue...
A piece to the puzzle...
The path that should be taken...
Everything has significance, Everything fits into place.

Her thoughts and favorite quotes - The following are some of the quotes that Rachel kept in a note book

Concentrating the attention of one aspect makes it leap into the foreground and occupy the square, just as with certain drawings, you have only to close your eyes and when you open them the perspective has changed.

But inside my head, in the circuits between my eyes and brain. I am swimming in my mind. This sword of light exists only there; and this is precisely what attracts me.”

If the luminous bodies are filled with uncertainty, the only solution is to entrust oneself to the darkness to the deserted regions of the sky. What can be more stable than nothingness?  And yet we cannot be 100% sure even of nothingness.

The only difference between me and a mad man is that I am not mad” - Salvador Dali (1904-1989)

“Everything beautiful has its moment and then it passes away. “ - Luis Cernuda

“When I die, will they remember not what I did, but what I haven't done?
It’s not the end that I fear with each breath.  It’s life that scares me to death...”

“When we built these dreams on sand,
how they all slipped through our hands.
And this might be our only chance.
Let’s take this one day at a time,
I’ll hold your hand if you hold mine.
The time that we kill keeps us alive.”  -Rise Against

I'll show you mine if you show me yours first
let’s compare scars, I'll tell you whose is worse
Lets un-write these pages and replace them with our own words.   - Rise Against

We live on front porches and swing life away,
We get by just fine here on minimum wage
If love is a labor I'll slave till the end,
I won't cross these streets until you hold my hand  - Rise Against

 Life goes by so fast
you only want to do what you think is right.
Close your eyes and then its past;
Story of my life......                                  -social distortion

Then as it was, then again it will be,  And though the course will change sometimes, Rivers always reach the sea."      -led zeppelin

You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you.
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.
